titleOfInvention A long-acting depression animal model construction kit and construction method
abstract The invention provides a long-acting depression animal model construction kit and construction method, and relates to the technical field of animal models. The present invention adopts Bacillus Calmette-Guerin (or mycobacterium bovis tuberculosis) and low-dose pertussis toxin for joint induction, which greatly reduces the cost of model building. In the mouse model constructed by the construction method of the present invention, the time periods of pathological behavior and depression-like behavior are clearly separated, and have good face validity and predictive validity. The construction method of the present invention is simple and does not require a large number of cumbersome daily operations like chronic unpredictable stress, chronic restraint stress, social frustration and mother-child separation and other depression models. Utilizing the mouse model of the present invention can provide a valuable long-term intervention window for antidepressant therapy research.
