abstract | The invention relates to a modified carbon fiber-reinforced polyimide resin-based wet friction material and a preparation method thereof. First, the surface of the chopped carbon fiber is uniformly coated with a polydopamine nano-film by physical impregnation, and then the terminal epoxy polydimethyl Siloxane is grafted onto the polydopamine-coated carbon fiber by using the functional group reaction of epoxy group and amino group. The modified carbon fibers and fillers are put into a fiber standard deflaker for beating and dispersing, and then the slurry is poured into a paper sheet former for suction filtration to obtain base paper. After drying, impregnate the polyimide resin solution, and hot press on a flat vulcanizing machine to obtain the friction material. The invention improves the interfacial bonding performance between the carbon fiber and the polyimide resin, and improves the thermal conductivity, mechanical performance and friction and wear performance of the friction material. In particular, the wear rate of the modified wet friction material was reduced by 33%. |
