The mutant is obtained by single mutation or multi-site mutation at the 54th, 58th, 213th, 223rd and 225th positions of the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 2. The D-amino acid oxidase variant engineering strain constructed by the present invention can effectively improve the stability and yield of oxaloacetic acid with the use of stabilizers. The maximum product concentration can reach 34.7 g/L, and the maximum conversion rate can reach 87.4%. .
