abstract The invention discloses a high-safety liquid hydrogen storage tank testing system and method for saving liquid hydrogen consumption, which is used for testing the liquid hydrogen storage tank. The liquid hydrogen storage tank includes an outer container and an inner container. The inner container is provided with a liquid inlet pipeline, a liquid discharge pipeline and an exhaust pipeline which are communicated with the outside. The lower part of the liquid liner is connected with the wall surface of the inner container through a plurality of liner supports; the signal collection pipeline extends from the inner container to the outside of the outer container and is connected with the first thermometer and the liquid level gauge. The pipeline is provided with a second thermometer and a pressure transmitter at the outer position of the outer container; the first thermometer, the pressure transmitter, the liquid level gauge and the second thermometer are all connected with the computer in the control room. By using the invention, the amount of liquid hydrogen used in the test of the liquid hydrogen storage tank can be reduced, and the performance test of the liquid hydrogen storage tank can be ensured at the same time.
