abstract The invention provides a method for predicting the content of deoxynivalenol in stems of wheat stem base rot, belonging to the technical field of plant disease assessment. The method of the invention predicts the content of DON based on the disease level of stem rot. In the example, a prediction model for DON and disease levels in straw was constructed based on two years of field test data; then the DON content in each acre of stem rot field blocks was predicted by the 5-point sampling method; finally, the use of the straw could be determined. The invention can be used for agricultural early warning in the aspect of straw damage and use of wheat stem rot.
