abstract |
Provided is a camera device capable of achieving better imaging performance. The image pickup device includes, in an effective pixel area extending along the first surface: a condensing optical system that condenses incident light; a photoelectric conversion unit capable of generating electric charges through photoelectric conversion, the electric charges corresponding to passing through the condensing optical system the amount of the incident light; a charge holding unit capable of holding the charge transferred from the photoelectric conversion unit; and a first light-shielding film provided on the first surface in the thickness direction orthogonal to the first surface between the photoelectric conversion unit and the charge holding unit, and block the incident light. The condensing optical system condenses the incident light at a position overlapping the first light shielding film in the thickness direction in the effective pixel region. |
