The present invention provides a nucleic acid excellent in cell membrane permeability and a method for producing the same. A nucleic acid containing a perfluoroalkyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms and having 1 to 5 ether-bonding oxygen atoms between carbon atoms. In the nucleic acid described above, the perfluoroalkyl group is directly or indirectly bonded to the 5' terminal or the 3' terminal of the nucleic acid, or the perfluoroalkyl group is indirectly introduced between two nucleotides. Also, a nucleic acid pharmaceutical product comprising, as an active ingredient, a nucleic acid containing a perfluoroalkyl group having 2 to 10 carbon atoms, which may have 1 to 5 ether-bonding oxygen atoms between carbon atoms. |
