titleOfInvention A special flux-cored welding wire for deep-sea wet FCAW and preparation method thereof
abstract The invention relates to a special flux-cored welding wire for deep-sea wet FCAW and a preparation method, belonging to the technical field of welding wires, comprising an outer-layer steel strip and an inner-layer flux core. Titanium, niobium, molybdenum, copper, silicon, aluminum, and the rest are iron elements; the composition of the layered core includes: gas generator 30%-50%, slag generator 20%-30%, heat generator 15%-25%, Metal powder 5%-25%; gas-forming agent components are sodium bicarbonate, calcium carbonate and basic copper carbonate, of which sodium bicarbonate accounts for 10%-30% by mass of gas-generating agent, and calcium carbonate accounts for 60% ‑70%, and basic copper carbonate accounts for 10%‑30%. During deep sea welding, the inner flux core of the welding wire can generate more gas, a part of which is ionized into the plasma to maintain the arc to ensure stable combustion, and the rest enters the inside of the bubble to maintain or even increase the size of the bubble to overcome the high pressure in the deep sea. The compression effect brought about, thereby improving the welding stability and improving the weld formation.
