titleOfInvention | Method for decontamination of radioactively contaminated material |
abstract | The present invention relates to a method for decontamination of radioactively contaminated material, comprising the steps of: a) providing radioactively contaminated material in a decontamination bath device (200); b) providing a reactor unit (107), said reactor unit Comprising a connected first reactor chamber (102) and a second reactor chamber (103); c) in the first reactor chamber (102), water with pH>7 is electrolyzed and (H 3 O 2 )n is produced d) generating nanobubbles in said electrolyzed water in said second reactor chamber (103); e) optionally repeating said steps c) and d); f) adding said nanobubbles to all applying pressure to the water; g) delivering the pressurized water containing the nanobubbles to the decontamination bath device (200) containing the alpha ray generator and the radioactively contaminated material; h) using the charging the nanobubbles with alpha particles emitted by the alpha ray generator; and i) contacting the charged nanobubbles with the radioactively contaminated material in the purification bath device (200). |
