abstract The invention discloses a lithium ion battery separator slurry, a preparation method thereof, and a lithium ion battery separator, wherein the lithium ion battery separator slurry comprises the following components by weight: polyorganosilicon sesquioxane microspheres ( PSQ microspheres): 2-20 parts, inorganic particles: 30-45 parts, acrylate binder: 4-10 parts, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose: 10-12 parts, polyurethane dispersant: 0.01-0.20 parts, polyether-modified polysiloxane additives: 0.01-0.20 parts, deionized water: 30-45 parts; the solid content of the lithium-ion battery separator slurry is 37-42 wt%. In this application, the composite coating of the battery base film is constructed by using ultra-fine PSQ microspheres and inorganic particles, so that the slurry has excellent dispersibility, and the composite diaphragm after slurry coating has a small friction coefficient and a smooth coating surface. It is conducive to the separation of the winding core and the winding needle of the separator during the winding and assembly process of the lithium ion battery, reducing the problems of bad core pulling such as wrinkling, tearing, and uneven edges of the separator, and reducing the probability of internal short circuit safety hazards in the lithium ion battery.
