abstract The invention discloses a simulation calculation method for the acoustic design of a road sound barrier, which regards the traffic noise on the road as a continuous and uninterrupted line sound source, takes the sound source point closest to the sensitive point for the most unfavorable noise calculation, and calculates the most unfavorable noise. The over-standard range caused by unfavorable noise points is combined with the length and height of the initial quasi-sound barrier in this range, and then the appropriate length and height combination is obtained by calculating the insertion loss of the sound barrier. When calculating the most unfavorable noise at the sound source point, the traffic volume calculation, noise contribution value calculation, environmental reduction, distance attenuation and insertion loss calculation are fully considered, and the calculation accuracy is high; the calculation adopts pure mathematical calculation based on table EXCEL. The model realizes digital simulation by converting traffic factors, environmental factors, and space required for acoustic calculation into digital simulation, which reduces the threshold of road acoustic calculation and fills the digital calculation gap of road acoustic design.
