abstract The invention belongs to the field of chemical analysis, and in particular relates to a method for detecting the solid content of water-based polyurethane. The method includes the following steps: measuring the refractive index of the water-based polyurethane sample to be tested; and calculating the solid content of the water-based polyurethane sample to be tested according to the measurement result of the refractive index and a pre-established water-based polyurethane solid content-refractive index standard curve. The technical solution provided by the present invention utilizes the functional relationship between the solid content and the refractive index of the water-based polyurethane, and finally calculates the solid content of the sample to be tested by measuring the refractive index of the sample to be tested. The method is simple in operation, fast in detection, does not require complex pretreatment, is non-toxic and harmless in the detection process, has high accuracy and good reproducibility.
