The present invention relates to the development of novel photocrosslinking activity-based probes (ABPs) and their use. Specifically, ubiquitin-bearing E2 conjugation enzymes were engineered and shown to be efficient ABPs for RING ubiquitin E1 and E3 ligases and deubiquitinases. |
