A method for monitoring the function of each irradiation emitter in a UVC irradiation sterilization device is disclosed, comprising: supplying a constant current source to at least one irradiation emitter; sensing a voltage across at least one irradiation emitter; a current drawn by the at least one irradiation emitter; analyzing the sensed voltage and the sensed current against predetermined values; determining a fault state of the at least one irradiation emitter based on the analysis. |
