The invention belongs to the technical field of petroleum and natural gas geological exploration experiments, and discloses a method for measuring the specific surface area of organic-rich shale. According to the characteristics of the existence of a large number of carbonate minerals and organic matter in the organic-rich shale, as well as the properties of the clay minerals, the sample is crushed and sieved, and then subjected to pretreatments such as removing organic matter, decarbonating minerals and deionization, combined with ethyl acetate A method for measuring the specific surface area of organic-rich shale was obtained by using the glycol ether adsorption method. Compared with the currently widely used nitrogen adsorption method, it is found that the method of the present invention can accurately determine the specific surface area of organic-rich shale, and the specific surface area has a very obvious positive correlation with the organic matter content, which reflects the promotion effect of clay minerals on the preservation of organic matter. This provides a theoretical basis for the evaluation of shale oil and gas source rocks and the selection of replacement horizons. |
