titleOfInvention A kind of method utilizing monosaccharide to synthesize 1,2-butanediol
abstract The invention discloses a method for synthesizing 1,2-butanediol by utilizing monosaccharide. The method comprises the following steps: S1, in water, under the action of a hydrogen atmosphere and a first supported metal catalyst, dehydration-hydrogenation reaction of penta-carbon sugars; S2, dehydration-hydrogenation reaction of the system after the dehydration-hydrogenation reaction is carried out A reaction solution is obtained by separation; the reaction solution is concentrated and subjected to hydrogenolysis under the action of a hydrogen atmosphere and a second supported metal catalyst to obtain 1,2-butanediol. The present invention catalyzes the conversion of xylose under hydrothermal conditions, and realizes dehydration-hydrogenation reaction by catalyzing xylose through the first supported metal catalyst to obtain an intermediate 1,5-dihydroxy-2-pentanone (3,4-DX ); then adopt the second supported metal catalyst to catalyze the hydrogenation and hydrogenolysis of the intermediate 3,4-DX to obtain 1,2-butanediol. Compared with the existing method for synthesizing 1,2-butanediol from biomass, the method of the invention has the advantages of high yield of the target product, no waste acid discharge, and the catalyst can be recycled and reused.
