abstract The invention relates to a submarine cable deformation monitoring technology, and aims to provide an experimental bench and an experimental method for simulating and monitoring the deformation and vibration of the submarine cable. The experimental bench includes: an environmental simulation system composed of a cross-section water tank and a wave maker, a bench support system composed of a support frame and a long table surface; a number of parallel through openings are arranged at intervals along the length direction of the table surface. The slot, the slot is perpendicular to the length of the table, the table is used to place the submarine cable to be tested; the motion simulation system consists of multiple sets of driving devices located under the slot; and the scanning monitoring system and the upper industrial computer. The experimental bench of the invention can simulate the structural change of the submarine cable in the in-situ similar environment under the securing state; innovatively proposes the use of a servo motor and a transmission mechanism to observe the influence of displacement on the structural stability of the submarine cable. It can be combined with traditional monitoring devices for static test, simulate the in-situ long-term working environment, and realize all-round performance evaluation.
