abstract |
The present invention relates to methods of diagnosing disorders associated with cells expressing CD206 by administering to an individual a pharmaceutical composition comprising a carrier molecule having a detectable group attached thereto. The carrier molecule has a glucan backbone and at least one acceptor substrate conjugated directly or indirectly to the glucan backbone, wherein the acceptor substrate is selected such that it is specific Binds to CD206. The present invention also provides methods of treating disorders associated with CD206-expressing cells, as well as ex vivo methods and kits for quantifying the number of CD206-expressing cells in body fluids. |
