The tea beverage for reducing blood sugar is prepared from green tea, chicory, grape skin, trehalose and an absorption promoting agent; the preparation method comprises the following steps: (1) blanching chicory and grape skin, and grinding into slurry; adding enzyme into the slurry, performing enzymolysis, and inactivating enzyme to obtain an enzymolysis material; (2) mixing the enzymolysis material with green tea, and standing; adding ethanol for reflux extraction to obtain ethanol extract; then adding enzyme into the obtained filter residue, carrying out enzymolysis, and inactivating the enzyme to obtain enzymolysis residue; (3) adding water into the enzymolysis residues, and heating and extracting to obtain a water extract; (4) mixing the ethanol extractive solution and water extractive solution, heating, adding trehalose and absorption promoter, mixing, diluting, keeping the temperature, and cooling to obtain tea beverage.
