abstract The invention provides a method for improving the production efficiency of poultry by rapidly evaluating the brittleness of livers, which comprises the following steps: (1) acquiring the total cholesterol content in the blood of a number of poultry in a preset poultry species group, and acquiring the liver shearing force of the number of poultry in the preset poultry species group by using a muscle tenderness tester, wherein the liver shearing force is used as the liver brittleness; (2) performing curve fitting on the obtained total cholesterol content and the liver fragility, and establishing a regression equation y as ax 3 +bx 2 + cx + d, wherein y is liver fragility, x is total cholesterol content, a, b, c are regression coefficients of the liver fragility to the third, second, first power of total cholesterol content, respectively, and d is a calibration coefficient; (3) acquiring the total cholesterol content of poultry blood to be detected in a preset poultry species group; (4) and obtaining the liver brittleness of the poultry to be detected according to the regression method.
