The invention discloses a chloroplast genome of three-camphor yellow tribute pepper for the first time, applies the chloroplast genome to the phylogenetic research of the three-camphor yellow tribute pepper, and analyzes the phylogenetic position of the three-camphor yellow tribute pepper in capsicum. The invention utilizes a molecular systematics and phylogenetic genomics method to establish the phylogenetic relationship of capsicum species through the chloroplast genome of the three saffron yellow tribute peppers, and on the basis, the chloroplast whole genome of the three saffron yellow tribute peppers is used as a super DNA bar code of capsicum for identifying the varieties of the three saffron yellow tribute peppers. The method provides theoretical basis and technical support for the conservation of germplasm resources and species identification of the capsicum, particularly the tri-camphor yellow tribute capsicum, and has important significance for the breeding, genetic diversity evaluation, protection and utilization of the tri-camphor yellow tribute capsicum. |
