abstract Disclosed herein are cell cassettes for storing, collecting and analyzing biological samples. The cell cassette can enable the easy collection of samples and the use of semipermeable membranes to seal microwell arrays for stable storage and future processing of single cells. Also disclosed herein are systems and kits comprising one or more of the cassettes. The cassettes, systems and kits can be used to create barcoded single cell sequencing libraries. Also described herein are methods of using the cartridges, systems and kits.
