abstract Provided is a method for calculating the biological age of a subject and across multiple subjects by performing polygenic DNA methylation on a biomarker, the method comprising measuring a putative antisense region localized to the ElovL2 gene , that is, the methylation status of the 13 CG sites in the AS1 region of ElovL2. Further, a computer-implemented method for providing recommendations for lifestyle changes in the form of a self-learning "ecosystem" using new measurements of the DNA methylation clock as Continuous dynamic results for lifestyle management of biological aging. Also provided is a combination of DNA methylation biomarkers for calculating biological age and a kit for determining the biological age. Further, the use of the disclosed method for calculating biological age in a method of evaluating the effect of biological intervention and a method of screening anti-aging agents is disclosed.
