abstract |
An electrochemical sensor includes a working electrode having an arrangement of the posts defining channels between posts. The channel enhances the confinement of by-products generated in the electrochemical reaction used during sensing of the analyte in order to enhance the interaction of the by-products with the working electrode. A number of working embodiments of the present invention are shown as being useful for amperometric glucose sensors worn by diabetic individuals. |
