The present invention provides a lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine capable of reducing deterioration of low-temperature fluidity when mixed with water. A lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine, comprising: (A) a lubricating oil base oil composed of a mineral oil base oil or a synthetic base oil and having a kinematic viscosity at 100° C. of 3.8 to 4.6 mm 2 /s, ( B) a metal-based detergent comprising a metal salicylate detergent, (C) a comb-shaped poly(meth)acrylate having a weight average molecular weight of 350,000 to 1,000,000 and a polydispersity of 4.0 or less, and (D) A succinimide dispersant in which the unmodified succinimide dispersant and/or the boric acid-modified succinimide dispersant accounts for 70% by mass or more of the total nitrogen component, and the HTHS viscosity of the composition at 150°C is: 2.55~2.84mPa·s. |
