abstract The invention provides a thulium laser medical solid-state laser with both continuous and pulse output, including a laser resonator, a focusing mirror and an optical coupler; the laser resonator includes a high-reflection mirror, a thulium ion laser crystal, and a semiconductor pumped laser and output mirror. Each diode-pumped laser includes two parallel bars, one for continuous output bars and the other for pulse output bars. The laser can generate both continuous thulium laser and pulsed thulium laser with high peak power and high energy.
