The present invention discloses a surgical instrument comprising a housing assembly; a shaft assembly coupled to the housing assembly; at least one radio frequency identification scanner configured to be capable of reading a radio frequency identification tag receiving information, the radio frequency identification tag corresponding to a component that can be coupled to the surgical instrument; and a control circuit. The control circuit is configured to be able to determine, for each part, the authenticity of the part based on the information received from the radio frequency identification tag. |
