abstract |
The present invention enables the determination of one or more particle group proportions in the flue gas of the waste heat boiler (110) based on optical information obtained from the flue gas sample. A processor (202) is used to read (301) a digital frame comprising an area under consideration representing at least a portion of the surface of the sampler (120) maintained in the flue gas flow of the waste heat boiler. A particle group region matching the color characteristics of the particle group contained in the flue gas is determined (302) from the considered region. The combined area of the identified particle group regions is determined (304), and the share of the combined area in the total area is determined (305) as the particle group proportional share of the particle group. |
