abstract | The invention relates to the technical field of lithium ion battery manufacturing, in particular to a lithium ion battery cell containing a liquid storage module and a preparation method thereof, wherein the lithium ion battery cell containing the liquid storage module comprises a battery cell and liquid storage modules compounded on the top and the bottom of the battery cell; the liquid storage module is a gel layer structure formed on the top and the bottom of the battery cell after polymer solution is volatilized by a solvent; wherein the polymer solution comprises the following components in percentage by weight: 10-20% of polymer, 2-5% of dispersant and 75-88% of solvent. The liquid storage modules compounded at the top and the bottom of the lithium ion battery cell are composed of gel layers formed on the surfaces of polymer solution solvents after volatilization, and when the gel layers are compounded on redundant diaphragms at the top and the bottom of the lithium ion battery cell, on one hand, the diaphragms can be prevented from being washed by electrolyte during initial liquid injection, and the battery qualification rate is improved; on the other hand, the gel layer absorbs the electrolyte to form a small water reservoir, thereby prolonging the cycle life of the battery. |
