abstract The invention discloses a new method for preparing α-hydroxyβ-nitroamide compounds by the Henry reaction catalyzed by L-arginine in aqueous phase. In the method, α-ketoamide compounds and nitromethane are used as reaction raw materials, natural amino acids are used as catalysts, and water is used as reaction solvent, and the α-hydroxy β-nitroamide compounds are prepared by reaction at room temperature. The reaction conditions are mild and simple, economical and inexpensive, with a wide range of reaction substrates and excellent target product yields.
