The present invention relates to an at least partially continuous process for the manufacture of polyurethane foam layers suitable for medical applications, especially wound dressings, at higher throughputs than is generally achievable in the art. The process includes an accelerated curing step of the PU foam, which is carried out at a stage throughout the curing process where the risk of runaway reactions is minimised. |
