abstract |
The present invention provides a polyglycerol chain surface-modified nanodiamond with excellent dispersibility in a low-polarity solvent and a method for producing the same. The surface-modified nano-diamond (1) comprises nano-diamond particles (2) and a surface-modifying group (3) for surface-modifying the nano-diamond particles (2), the surface-modifying group (3) having a polyglycerol chain and the above-mentioned Hydrogen atoms of at least a part of hydroxyl groups in the polyglycerol chain are replaced by monovalent organic groups. |
