Application of DTX2 protein in the preparation of preparations for regulating telomerase activity |
abstract |
The invention discloses the application of DTX2 protein in preparing preparations for regulating telomerase activity. The present invention finds that DTX2 is a new factor that activates telomerase. DTX2 protein is involved in regulating the expression of the catalytic subunit hTERT of telomerase and the regulation of telomere length, and its expression level is positively correlated with the expression level of hTERT and telomerase activity. Relatedly, interfering the expression of DTX2 protein or knocking out DTX2 can significantly reduce the expression and telomerase activity of the catalytic subunit hTERT in cells. DTX2 protein is a positive regulator of telomerase, which can be used to prepare preparations that positively regulate the totipotency of stem cells, and DTX2 protein inhibitors can also be used to prepare telomerase-positive tumor therapeutic drugs. DTX2 protein is of great significance for the clinical application of stem cells and the treatment of malignant tumors in the future. |
