abstract The invention provides a method for rapidly fusing a high-resolution No. 6 high-resolution camera image and a wide-width camera image, which comprises the steps of firstly carrying out virtual coarse registration on a full-spectrum image based on a panchromatic image, then carrying out fine registration on the panchromatic image and the full-spectrum image after the coarse registration by adopting a small-area differential correction method to obtain a fine-registered panchromatic image and a virtual full-spectrum image, and finally decomposing a panchromatic waveband based on smooth filtering to carry out high-resolution No. 6 panchromatic and full-spectrum image fusion. The method can effectively fuse the full spectrum section of the high-resolution No. 6 with the visible light wave band, and improve the spatial resolution of the full spectrum section while preserving the spectral information of the full spectrum section.
