By using the modified mesenchymal stem cells to over-express FGF18 gene and using a variant or autologous local joint cavity injection mode to treat osteoarthritis, the cartilage defect of arthritis patients can be fundamentally improved, the curative effect is improved, and the pain and the side effect of the patients in the treatment process are reduced. The invention provides technical support for preparing the medicament for promoting the osteoarthritis repair.
