abstract | The present disclosure relates to methods, compositions, and kits useful for enhanced pH gradient cation exchange chromatography of a variety of analytes. In various aspects, the present disclosure relates to a chromatography elution kit comprising (a) a first aqueous buffer solution having a first pH and comprising a first concentration of a first organic acid salt and (b) a second aqueous buffer solution having a second pH and comprising a second concentration of the first organic acid salt, wherein the first organic acid salt comprises a first organic acid ammonium salt, wherein the second pH is greater than the first pH, and wherein the second concentration is greater than the first concentration. In various aspects, the disclosure relates to methods of using such aqueous buffer solutions in chromatographic separations. |
