titleOfInvention Split Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session indication for multi-RAT dual connectivity (MR-DC) with 5GC
abstract The invention discloses a Main Node (MN), which determines the mode of Protocol Data Unit (PDU) session to be served, wherein the mode of PDU session comprises the divided PDU session between the MN and an auxiliary node (SN) or the whole PDU session served by the MN; generating a request message to be transmitted to the SN to set PDU session resources on the SN, based on a manner of the PDU session to be serviced; and indicates to the SN the manner of PDU sessions to be served. Disclosed is a SN that receives a request message for setting a PDU session resource from a MN, determines a manner of the PDU session to be serviced, and sets the PDU session resource on the SN based on at least the manner of the PDU session to be serviced.
