abstract |
The present disclosure relates to fuel cells including durability enhancing layers and methods of making the same. A fuel cell comprising: an electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly; a durability enhancement layer formed on at least one side of the electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly; and a gas diffusion layer formed on the durability enhancement layer and the electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly formed thereon On a side opposite to one side, wherein the durability enhancing layer includes a hydrogen peroxide decomposition catalyst and a hydrogen ion conductive polymer, and is formed on at least a portion of at least one side of the electrolyte membrane-electrode assembly. |
