The invention belongs to the field of plant technology protection, and particularly relates to a drought-resistant seed coating agent for millet and a preparation method and application thereof. In order to improve the drought resistance of millet and solve the shortcomings of easy shedding and large loss of active components of the millet seed coating, the drought-resistant seed coating of millet of the present invention is composed of the following raw materials in mass percentage: 0.5-0.8% of chitosan, 0.25-0.25% of polyvinyl alcohol. 0.4%, calcium chloride 0.025-0.05%, gibberellin 0.015-0.025%, melatonin 0.002-0.005%, colorant 0.5-1%, and the rest is water. The drought-resistant seed coating can improve the emergence rate of millet in arid soil and the drought-resistant ability of seedlings; the preparation method of the seed coating is simple, low in cost, environmentally friendly and pollution-free, and has obvious environmental and economic benefits. |
