The invention discloses a strain of Escherichia coli phage capable of reducing antibiotic resistance and an application thereof. Its host is Escherichia coli. Observed through an electron microscope, the phage polyhedron is three-dimensionally symmetrical, encapsulates nucleic acid, has a diameter of about 61 nm, and has no tail. It is CGMCC No.22493. Escherichia coli phage RDP‑EC‑20059 has a strong lytic effect on Escherichia coli in avian breeding environment, has high temperature tolerance and wide acid-base tolerance range, and can effectively treat the pathogenic bacteria caused by this pathogen in poultry breeding. Escherichia coli disease, and can be used as a disinfectant, provides a phage source for industrialized, large-scale, programmed production of phage and treatment of bacterial diseases in poultry breeding caused by Escherichia coli. |
