abstract | The invention discloses a drying agent with a heavy metal removing function and a preparation method thereof, wherein the drying agent comprises the following steps: the first step is to prepare bentonite filter powder, the second step is to uniformly mix the bentonite filter powder, the silicon dioxide nano powder and the plant starch, water is added to prepare suspension, the third step is to add an organic modifier and an auxiliary modifier into the suspension, the pH value is adjusted by using a sodium hydroxide solution, then the suspension is heated to prepare modified bentonite, the fourth step is to soak the modified bentonite in a hydrochloric acid solution, the modified bentonite is washed to be neutral by using deionized water, and spherical drying agents with the particle size of 1-3mm are obtained after granulation and drying. The drying agent prepared by the invention has good adsorption effect on heavy metal ions, and particularly has adsorption rate of over 75 percent on heavy metal ions such as copper, chromium, nickel, lead, iron, zinc and the like, and adsorption rate of over 80 percent on chromium ions. |
