For this purpose, the in-pipe self-cleaning control method of the present invention includes: after the air-conditioning system operates for a set time, obtaining the inlet and outlet pressures of the indoor heat exchanger and the inlet and outlet pressures of the outdoor heat exchanger; Calculate the first inlet and outlet pressure difference based on the outlet pressure; calculate the second inlet and outlet pressure difference based on the inlet and outlet pressure of the outdoor heat exchanger; compare the first inlet and outlet pressure difference and the second inlet and outlet pressure difference with the first pressure difference threshold respectively and the magnitude of the second pressure difference threshold; based on the comparison result, selectively control the air conditioning system to execute the self-cleaning mode in the indoor unit tube and/or the self-cleaning mode in the outdoor unit tube.
