abstract | The invention discloses a propionaldehyde purification method, which comprises the following steps: adding a certain amount of polymerization inhibitor into low-content propionaldehyde, stirring, heating and distilling, controlling the external temperature and the top temperature at normal pressure, collecting obtained distillate, and discarding a small amount of distillate; adding strong base and weak acid salt into the collected distillate, and stirring at normal temperature; filtering, collecting filtrate, and storing under nitrogen gas seal. The method has simple process and easy operation, and is suitable for preparing high-content propionaldehyde with the content of more than 99.8 percent. The invention can eliminate the influence of polymer and acidic substance after adding polymerization inhibitor or strong base weak acid salt, and the operable range of external temperature is large, the quality of propionaldehyde is not influenced; in the later stage of distillation or rectification, the top temperature is increased, and the content of propionaldehyde in the distillate is greatly reduced when the temperature exceeds the set temperature of the invention, so that the distillate is collected in the top temperature range of the invention to obtain high-content propionaldehyde. |
