The present invention relates to a method for identifying a specific binding partner (e.g. an antibody or antibody mimetic) that binds to a desired target polypeptide. In particular, the method involves expressing a library of specific binding partners in a population of mammalian cells, wherein each cell in the population displays a target polypeptide on the outer surface of the cell, and identifying or isolating the cell in the population to which the specific binding partner binds. |
