The present invention relates to a process for producing thermoplastic polyurethane (TPU) fibers with low shrinkage, especially at high spinning speeds, and the use of the resulting fibers in fabrics, especially in clothing and shoes. The present invention combines a high-speed spinning process and a thermal deformation process. This allows the production of TPU fibers with high productivity, which can greatly reduce costs. Furthermore, the resulting TPU fiber has a very low shrinkage of <10%, which makes it ideal for use as a primary raw material in fabrics. |
