titleOfInvention A molecular marker of ADPGK gene associated with testis traits of Hu sheep and its application
abstract The invention discloses an ADPGK gene molecular marker related to Hu sheep testis traits and its application . The acid sequence is shown in SEQ ID NO. 1 of the sequence table, and there is a C/T base mutation at the 130 bp position of SEQ ID NO. 1 of the sequence table, and the mutation causes the HpyCH4 III-RFLP enzyme cleavage polymorphism. By analyzing the correlation between ADPGK genotypes and testicular traits in Hu sheep, the results showed that the genotypes of Hu sheep individuals were divided into CC genotype and TC genotype, and the testis weight, size, epididymal weight and sperm count of individuals with TC genotype were significantly higher in individuals with the CC genotype. The adoption of the molecular marker of the invention improves the accuracy of seed selection, and can select Hu sheep individuals with higher sperm yield when Huyang rams are young, making early selection of Hu sheep breeds possible and speeding up the breeding process.
