abstract The present invention provides a method for measuring the pH value of slurry in an absorption tower for wet flue gas desulfurization, including using a measuring device, which includes an inlet pipeline, an on-off valve at a sampling port, a pH meter measuring cylinder, and a pH meter is provided to measure the pH value. The outlet adjustment valve downstream and below the cylinder, and the pH meter installation port, and the pH meter installation port is set to be inclined so that the pH meter inserted into it is inserted with the probe inclined downward, and the axis line of the pH meter installation port is at an angle with the horizontal plane is 15-65°; the measuring device also includes a flushing water pipe and a flushing water on-off valve connected to the inlet pipeline downstream of the sampling port on-off valve; the inner diameter or equivalent inner diameter of the pH meter measuring cylinder is 2 times the inner diameter of the inlet pipeline. The measurement method includes two steps of measuring the pH value of the slurry and washing the device. The slurry in all areas in the method and device of the present invention is always in a flowing state, so that there is no sedimentation and blockage, and the measurement of the pH value of the slurry is stable and accurate.
