abstract |
The present invention relates to a method for producing a rapidly disintegrating tablet having a disintegration time of up to 15 minutes for oral administration of a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba, and having a total tablet weight of 150 mg to 300 mg per 100 mg Ginkgo biloba extract. The present invention further provides a rapidly disintegrating tablet comprising a dry extract of Ginkgo biloba, which is easier to take than hitherto used tablets due to its smaller size. In a preferred embodiment, the tablet is lactose free and therefore well tolerated. |
