abstract The invention discloses a new application of mogroside V and a biomarker acting on pulmonary inflammation. One of the applications is that mogroside V is used to prepare a medicine for treating pulmonary inflammation. In the second application, mogroside V is used as an inhibitor to improve and reduce the increase of TNF-α, IL-4 and IgE inflammatory factor levels and the decrease of IFN-γ levels caused by OVA stimulation, and reduce the inflammatory infiltration in lung tissue. The third application is that mogroside V is used to prepare antitussive or cough-relieving and lung-moisturizing medicine. The present invention has also studied the biomarker that mogroside V acts on lung inflammation, and described biomarker is taurine, hypotaurine, pyridoxine, pyridoxal 5-phosphate, histidine and aspartame acid. The present invention proposes a new application of mogroside V. Mogroside V has the functions of eliminating lung inflammation and "moistening the lungs and relieving cough", and has low toxic and side effects.
