titleOfInvention | Optical fiber interference optical path based on unidirectional light transmission and its construction method |
abstract | The invention belongs to the technical field of optical fibers, in particular to an optical fiber interference optical path based on unidirectional light transmission and a construction method thereof. The present invention obtains two beams of light with the same polarization through the splitting and combining of light, which are transmitted in the same optical fiber together, and are transmitted in one direction; due to the transmission from the same optical fiber, it can ensure that the two beams of light are output from the optical fiber. It has the same polarization state; the two beams form interference after returning to the beam splitting and combining structure; since the interference beam is unidirectionally transmitted in the optical fiber, the structure can use a unidirectional optical amplifier with optical isolation to perform optical processing. Amplification to overcome the loss of long-distance fiber transmission, while effectively isolating the influence of backscattered light. Using this structure for sensing, the characteristics of the disturbance signal induced in the transmission fiber have nothing to do with the position of the sensing point. The present invention can be used for distributed signal sensing or signal transmission and the like. The structure is used together with other optical fiber interference sensing structures, and can realize the location of the disturbance point. |
